Smart ignition turns off the ignitor once the flame is fully established and the combustion chamber is warned up. In the majority of cases, the burner will no lose flame retention. If, however, the flame is lost, the control will switch to intermittent Duty and restart the burner. The control will remain in Intermittent Duty for ten heat cycles. Following these cycles, the control resumes interrupted Duty ignition unless another flame loss occurs.
